In celebration of the 40th Anniversary, Mattel unveiled the most expensive Hot Wheels car ever made at yhe 2008 Toy Fair in New York City.
Created by jeweler to the stars, Jason of Beverly Hills, it’s 18-carat white gold body is adorned with blue diamonds, while the base features white and black diamonds. The taillights are red rubies, the tires have black diamonds. Even the minature interior is jeweled. So is the tiny engine. The famous Hot Wheels logo is outlined in diamonds too. Even the case has 40 white diamonds!
In total, there are 2,700 jewels on the car weighing about 23-karats.
That’s one expensive tchatchke.

Known as the Ashera, this cat is the largest, rarest and most exotic domestic feline you can buy. It is the size of a small dog and is adorned with leopard spots and tiger stripes. It can weigh 30 pounds. The cat was bred by California based Lifestyle Pets.
Some experts claim the Savannah is the pedigree and the Ashera some overpriced mutt breed. Meeeooow!

It debuted at a hip London nighclub called Movida, which is a hot spot for athletes, celebrities and the ultra-rich. Just in time for Kelly Rowlands Christmas Party there on the 14th. Admission to Movida is by membership or guest invite only.
Wonder what happens to the waitress if she spills one?

Guerlain Paris, French cosmetics company, has released KissKiss Gold and Diamonds lipstick, the priciest lipstick in the world. You get 110 grams of lip stuff, wrapped in an engraved 18 carat gold tube encrusted with 199 diamonds weighing 2.2 carats, rubies and emeralds. You can only get KissKiss G&D at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman by special consultation. (I guess they want to make sure your lips are worth it.)
Cost: Kiss $62,000 goodbye.
