World’s Most Expensive Drink is Flawless

The “Flawless” cocktail contains “a large measure of Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, some brown sugar, angostura bitters and a few flakes of 24-carat edible gold leaf” —- and an 11 carat diamond at the bottom of the glass– so don’t guzzle this baby.

It debuted at a hip London nighclub called Movida, which is a hot spot for athletes, celebrities and the ultra-rich. Just in time for Kelly Rowlands Christmas Party there on the 14th. Admission to Movida is by membership or guest invite only.

Wonder what happens to the waitress if she spills one?

Forbes listed the world’s most expensive houses in the world. Here are the top 5:

1. $165 million. Beverly Hills, CA. This 75,000 sq. ft. villa was once owned by William Randolph Hearst, the newspaper tycoon. It’s on 6.5 acres. It has 40 bathrooms (gee that’s a lot of toilet paper). 29 bedrooms lets you sleep in a different room for a month. This home was featured in the Godfather. Make them an offer they can’t refuse and it’s yours.

2. $140 million. Romania. Vlad the Impaler’s digs, Bran Castle, was built in 1212. 17 bedrooms look over the countryside where the impaled ones once stuck out.

3. $138 million. Updown Court, Surrey, England. Bigger than Buckingham Palace with 103 bedrooms and 53 acres of gardens (that’s a lot of hedges to trim).

4. $135 million. Montana Hala Ranch in Aspen, CO. 56,000 sq. ft. Ho-hum.

5. $125 million. Palm Beach, FL. Owned by Donald Trump, he picked it up at a garage sale (bankruptcy) for a mere 41.25 million in 2004.
