World’s Most Expensive Cell Phone: Ancort Diamond Crypto Smartphone

The Ancort Diamond Crypto Smartphone is the priciest cell phone in the world. Moscow’s JSC Ancort company and renowned Austrian jeweler, Peter Aloisson, who created the world’s first diamond encrusted mobile phone (way back in 1997), teamed to create the Diamond Crypto Smartphone.

The phone is made of solid platinum . The Ancort logo and navigation key are 18 carat rose gold, with 28 round cut diamonds circling the navigation key. 25 1/2 princess cut diamonds adorn the sides of the phone. There are also 8 blue diamonds.

Cost: $1.3 million

Previously, the most expensive cell phone in the world was this Limited Edition by Goldvish (Geneva): 18 carat gold, 120 carats of VSS-I grade diamonds. Cost: an ice cold mil.

My favorite is Boucheron for Vertu Signature Cobra, made with 439 rubies from Paris jeweler Boucheron. Only 8 Cobras exist. Cost: $310,000.

There is also a Signature Python ($115,000. Only 26 Pythons made– honoring Boucheron store at 26 Place Vendome). These Vertu cell phones are handmade in the UK.

The Limited Edition Mystery Masterpiece by Mont Blanc and Van Cleef & Arpels is the world’s most expensive pen. It commemorates the 100th year anniversary of the prestigious pen company. It comes in 3 styles— ruby, sapphire and emerald (2 carats worth) — complete with 840 diamonds set in white gold. Something to write home about.

World’s Most Expensive Production Car

Is Was the Bugatti Veyron.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is was not only the world’s most expensive production automobile, it is also the fastest and most powerful, at over 1000 horsepower. Top speed: around 250 mph. 0-60 in 2.46 seconds. It’s also the top gas guzzler at 5.82 mpg, city– so clocking the top speed, you’ll run out of gas in about 12.5 minutes.

It is built by Volkswagen AG. The Veyron made its world premier at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2005.

Base Cost: $1.2 million

In the works, Now it is the Natalia SLS by DiMora Motorcar. 1200 horsepower, 16 cylinders. And get this, color changing technology that changes the paint color as the car heats up. Should help in beating those speeding tickets.
Cost: $2.0 million
